Usage
The Lamello Flexus Clamex P-14 is designed for creating detachable, precise connections in furniture frames and cabinetry. It is ideal for assembling or retrofitting shelves and panels in both new builds and already assembled units.
Advantages
- Flexible positioning pins simplify assembly sequences, allowing components to be installed after frame assembly
- Minimal 6 mm access hole ensures nearly invisible joints for superior aesthetics
- Detachable design allows repeated assembly and disassembly without damaging the workpiece
- Torsion resistance provided by anti-twist flexible pins eliminates the need for additional dowels
- Lateral tolerance of ±1 mm facilitates installation even with slight misalignments or irregularities
Specifications
- P-System connector body made from fiberglass-reinforced plastic; lever constructed from zinc die-cast material[5]
- Satisfies durability requirements for repeatable use; suited to particle board, MDF, plywood, softwood, and hardwood[1][5]
- Tensile strength: up to 710 N in particle board[1]
- Compatible with minimum material thicknesses: edge cuts ≥12 mm; surface cuts ≥11 mm; center wall machining ≥16 mm; angle bisector ≥18 mm. Connector dimensions: approx. 64 × 21 × 9.7 mm[1][7]
How it works
This connector anchors quickly into a pre-cut P-System groove using a Zeta P2 joiner. The workpiece is positioned using the flexible pins, then locked in place by turning a lever through a small access hole—creating a strong yet easily removable joint.
