Usage

The Effeff 29 E DIN R electric strike is designed for secure remote-controlled door locking and unlocking, especially suited for narrow frames in commercial or residential buildings with right-hand DIN doors.

Advantages

  • Design: Slim asymmetrical body; adjustable keeper (FaFix®) enhances adaptation to various latch sizes; supplied with metal faceplate (tétière HZ).
  • Durability: Withstands at least 250,000 operating cycles; break-in resistance rated at up to 3,000 N[1][5]. Tested according to manufacturer’s internal standards.
  • Main dimensions: Height: approx. 90 mm, Width: approx. 16.5 mm[1]; compatible with standard narrow-profile frames; universal fitting position—vertical or horizontal[1][5].
  • Powersupply & Consumption: Operates on either AC/DC from 6–12 V; supports intermittent duty operation[1][2]. Mechanical unlocking (E function) is integrated as standard for emergency release scenarios[2].

How it works

The Effeff 29 E DIN R electric strike replaces a mechanical strike in the door frame. When power is applied through an access control system or intercom relay, the keeper retracts electrically so the latch can pass freely and open the door without manual key operation.[8]
