Usage
The infrared repeater set enables remote control signals to reach audio-video equipment hidden inside furniture, such as TV units, hi-fi cabinets, or gaming console storage. This solution maintains seamless control without opening cabinet doors.
Advantages
- Allows operation of devices concealed in closed furniture
- Extends the range of infrared remote controls up to 10 meters
- Compatible with DVD/Blu-ray players, game consoles, and hi-fi systems
- Easily integrates into existing home entertainment setups
- The set can be expanded with up to two additional emitters for broader coverage
Specifications
- Composed of a control unit, infrared receiver (cable length typically around 1 meter), transmitter emitter, holder/display stand, and power supply block
- Casing designed for discreet installation within or behind furniture; components often use durable plastics and electronic-grade connectors[1][8]
- Operates at an input voltage commonly around DC 5 V–12 V; supports IR frequency range between approximately 30 kHz and 60 kHz[5][9]
- Covers a maximum signal transmission distance of about 10 meters depending on setup; supports extension by adding more IR emitters[7][9]
How it works
The receiver detects the signal from your remote control outside the furniture. This signal is transmitted via cable to emitters inside the cabinet that relay commands directly to your devices—enabling full remote operation through closed doors.
