Usage
This 170 mm hammer-head suspension spring is designed to securely attach a shutter curtain to the roller shaft, ensuring stable movement and reliable support for rolling or strap-operated shutters in residential or commercial settings.
Advantages
- Allows quick attachment without drilling or screwing, simplifying installation
- High-quality spring steel construction ensures strength and long-term resilience
- PVC surface coating minimizes operating noise during use
- Compatible with all shutter slat sizes, providing broad system compatibility
- Maintains proper weight distribution across the curtain for enhanced balance; periodic replacement of all springs is recommended for optimal performance[1][3][2]
Specifications
- Banded from high-quality spring steel with a PVC-coated profile for silent operation[1][3]
- Suits mini-profile slats (7.5 to ~9 mm thick); conforms to professional standards in durability[2]
- Total band length: 170 mm; suitable profile length: approx. 120 mm; typical recommended spacing: every 30–50 cm on shaft[1][8][2]
- No need for drilling—the clip-on design allows fast setup and replacement on most roller shutter systems
How it works
The suspension spring clips laterally onto the first slat of the shutter curtain and attaches its hammer-head end into pre-existing holes on the shaft. This connection supports the weight of the curtain, enables smooth winding around the axle, and helps improve sound insulation when closed.
