Usage
The adjustable angle magnetic holder MLA600 is designed for welders to securely hold and position sheet metal, pipes, and various profiles at precise angles during welding or assembly tasks, especially where internal access is limited.
Advantages
- Adjustable from 30° to 270°, accommodating a wide range of angles for complex assemblies.
- Offers strong holding power up to 33 lbs (15 kg) for reliable material positioning.
- Narrow profile provides clearance in tight corners or confined workspaces.
- Mounting holes allow linking multiple magnets for custom fixturing solutions.
- The integrated hex hole enables easy breakaway leverage when removing the magnet from workpieces.
Specifications
- Two independent rectangular magnets provide consistent and undiminished magnetic force on both sides of the joint [1][3]. Construction utilizes durable materials suitable for industrial environments.
- The device withstands demanding workshop conditions; manufactured according to recognized tool industry standards [1][4].
- Total magnetic pull force: up to 33 lbs (15 kg). Dimensions: each arm is approximately 6" x 6" x 0.79" (156 x 156 x 20 mm). Adjustable angle range: continuous from 30° up to 270° [2][4][7]. Weight: approx. 2.0 lbs (0.9 kg).
- Differentiating features include inside/outside holding capability, one-way corner relief design, mounting holes for modular setups, and compatibility with various material shapes—round, square, angled or flat stock [3][5].
How it works
The MLA600 uses two powerful adjustable magnets joined by a pivot that sets the desired angle between them—simply place each magnet on either side of your material and adjust between 30°–270°. The unit holds components in alignment while you weld or assemble them on the inside or outside corners as needed [1][3].
