Usage
The Fischer KDH 4mm toggle anchor is designed for secure fastening in hollow substrates such as plasterboard, chipboard, cavity slabs, and lightweight ceilings. It is ideal for installing lights, hooks, or fixtures where a reliable hold in hollow materials is required.
Advantages
- Compatible with a wide range of hollow wall and ceiling panels
- Self-opening spring mechanism ensures straightforward installation without special tools
- M4 threaded rod enables use with varying panel thicknesses up to 35 mm
- The integrated hook provides versatile options for suspending objects
- Pre-positioned installation minimizes assembly time and effort
Specifications
- Composed of metal spring toggle with M4 x 70 mm thread; total anchor length: 95 mm; compatible drill hole diameter: 14 mm; minimum cavity depth required: 34 mm[1][6][7]
- No special installation tools needed; suitable for repeated load applications due to durable metal construction[1][6]
- Carries recommended loads up to approximately 0.35 kN (≈35 kg) in standard gypsum board conditions (refer to technical documentation and substrate specifics)[5]
- The long threaded section supports wider attachment thicknesses compared to conventional toggles; supplied as box of 25 pieces including hooks for immediate use[6][7]
How it works
The KDH anchor is inserted into a pre-drilled hole. The metal toggle passes through the cavity, then automatically springs open behind the panel. Tightening the screw or hook secures the fixture tightly against the surface—no additional tool required.[1][3]
