Usage
Fixation chimique Spit Viper Xtrem 410 ml is designed for securely anchoring threaded rods, rebar, bolts, and studs into concrete or solid masonry. Suitable for heavy-duty structural or non-structural fixings in construction and renovation settings.
Advantages
- Suitable for use in cracked and uncracked concrete substrates.
- Allows close edge distances and tight anchor spacing without expansion stress.
- Chemical cure provides high load capacity with full embedment protection against corrosion.
- Fast curing time optimizes installation efficiency in various temperatures.
- No substrate cracking due to the non-expanding anchoring process; installation must follow correct cleaning procedure to ensure maximum bond strength.
Specifications
- Two-part injection system comprising a resin (typically polyester, epoxy acrylate, vinylester) activated by a hardener upon mixing during application.
- Shelf life generally up to 12 months when stored unopened between +5°C and +25°C away from direct sunlight; complies with major European technical standards for chemical anchors.
- Tensile loads commonly exceed mechanical anchor values—standard pullout strengths can reach above 20 kN depending on base material and anchor configuration; working temperature range typically from -5°C to +35°C during installation.
- Dose-controlled cartridge (410 ml) accommodates multiple fixings per unit based on hole diameter and depth; compatible with manual or battery-powered dispensing guns.
- Chemical formulation fills imperfections within drilled holes, offering airtight bonds suitable even for damp substrates.
How it works
The two components are mixed upon dispensing into the drilled hole. After carefully cleaning the borehole of dust/debris, inject resin to the required depth before inserting the metal rod or stud. The adhesive cures to form a strong bond that effectively transfers load between fixture and base material while protecting against corrosion and vibration-induced loosening.
