Usage
The Spit Viper XTREM 280ml chemical anchor is designed for high-strength fastening of threaded rods and rebar in cracked or non-cracked concrete, including use in seismic zones, wet or flooded holes, and structural applications.
Advantages
- Suitable for multiple substrates: dry, damp, or water-filled holes.
- High-performance vinylester resin ensures reliable anchoring in structural and seismic conditions.
- Easily injectable at ambient temperatures from -10°C to +40°C for versatile site application.
- No odor during use and classified A+ with no volatile organic compounds emitted.
- Shelf life up to 18 months unopened; minor drawback: requires standard cartridge gun for application.
Specifications
- Formulated with dual-component vinylester resin in a robust plastic cartridge (volume: 280ml).
- Carries ETA assessment for cracked/non-cracked concrete and fire safety certification; suitable for seismic loads (C1 & C2).
- Cures effectively between -10°C to +40°C ambient temperature; provides secure fixing even under dynamic loads or when submerged.
- Differentiated by transparent mixing nozzle allowing visual confirmation of proper mixing before injection; compatible with most drilling methods including diamond drilling. li>
How it works
The two-part resin mixes automatically as it is dispensed through the static mixer. Inject the mix into a pre-drilled hole before inserting the rod or rebar. The anchor sets chemically within the substrate, delivering high bond strength without expansion stress on surrounding material.
