Usage
The GearKlamp GK 300 is designed for securely clamping materials during woodworking, metalworking, interior fittings, or assembly tasks. Its compact construction makes it ideal for use in tight spaces where traditional clamps cannot fit.
Advantages
- Compact design allows clamping in confined or complex workspaces.
- Clamping force up to 2,000 N ensures reliable material holding.
- Quick-release shift button enables rapid adjustment of the sliding bar.
- Ergonomic two-component handle enhances comfort and control during use.
- Crossover v-grooves on the upper jaw stabilize round, angular, and pointed components.
Specifications
- The clamp features hardened steel rails (25 x 12 mm), a spindle with rolled trapezoidal thread, and high-strength glass fiber-reinforced polyamide jaws and housing.
- The robust build withstands frequent professional use; plastic housing protects internal mechanisms from dust and splinters for long-lasting performance.
- Maximum opening width: 300 mm; throat depth: 60 mm; maximum clamping force: up to 2000 N; weight: approx. between 0.62–0.73 kg depending on source variance.
- Differentiated by its separate handle mechanism integrated around the rail—unobstructed by tool parts in the work area—plus a swivelling pressure plate for precise alignment of workpieces without damaging surfaces.
How it works
Position the clamp’s jaws around your workpiece, then slide to adjust using the quick-release button. Tighten using the ergonomic handle positioned around the rail; this transmits even pressure via a trapezoidal-thread spindle while allowing access in tight areas.
