Usage
The Renson Silendo 461 AK acoustic door grille in natural anodized aluminum is designed for integration into interior doors, enabling airflow between rooms while reducing the transfer of noise. Suitable for offices, residential settings, and commercial buildings.
Advantages
- Provides effective acoustic damping with a sound reduction rating of up to 32 dB (Dn,e,w 32 (0;-2) dB), minimizing noise passage between rooms.
- Enables self-regulating ventilation without compromising privacy or comfort.
- Constructed from durable AlMgSi 0.5 aluminum with UV- and weather-resistant polymer end caps.
- Discreet appearance with invisible fixing system and silver-grey finish matching modern interiors.
- Straightforward installation via click-in mounting; available in standard size to fit most interior doors (37–43 mm thickness).
Specifications
- Design & Materials: Robust anodized aluminum body (AlMgSi 0.5) with synthetic acoustic foam core; grey Luran S ASA polymer end caps for added durability and aesthetics. Finish: natural anodized/silver-grey.
Dimensions: length 425 mm x height 48 mm; suitable for door thicknesses from 37 to 43 mm.
Cutout dimensions: mortise opening required is also approximately L425 x H48 mm.[4][5][7]
- Sustainability & Certifications: Aluminum conforms to EN12020-2 standard; sound damping performance measured according to EN ISO140-10 and EN ISO717-1.[4]
- Aerodynamic Performance: Airflow at ΔP = 1 Pa: 17.7 m³/h; at ΔP = 2 Pa: 25.1 m³/h; visual free area = physical free area = 27%.[4][7]
- Differentiators: Offers invisible integration into the door leaf, high-quality finish resistant to daily wear, compatible with most interior applications requiring both ventilation and privacy control through noise attenuation.[5][7]
How it works
The grille is fitted into a cut-out at the bottom of an interior door using a click-in system or invisible fixings. It allows continuous air transfer while its integrated acoustic foam absorbs sound energy, limiting noise transmission without leaving visible gaps beneath the door.[4][5][7]
