Usage
The Kokoon Air Protect mini air quality monitor is designed for real-time indoor air monitoring via Bluetooth. It is ideal for workplaces, classrooms, and living spaces needing continuous environmental assessment.
Advantages
- Continuously tracks particulate matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), temperature, and humidity for a comprehensive overview of indoor air quality.
- Bluetooth connectivity enables convenient wireless data transfer to smartphones or tablets for easy access to historical and current readings.
- Compact design allows discreet placement in various locations without disrupting room aesthetics or space usage.
- User-friendly operation with simple setup and minimal maintenance requirements, suitable for non-specialist users.
- Lack of integration with Wi-Fi networks may limit remote monitoring capabilities compared to some advanced models.
Specifications
- Sleek polycarbonate housing featuring integrated sensors: PM (laser scattering technology), VOCs (MOX sensor), temperature, and humidity modules; Bluetooth Low Energy module compliant with Bluetooth 5 protocol standards.[6][5]
- Engineered for durability in daily use; typically meets CE, RoHS, REACH certifications associated with quality air monitoring equipment.[5][6]
- Sensing range examples: particulate matter PM2.5: ±10% accuracy at typical concentrations; temperature accuracy ±0.2°C; humidity accuracy ±3% RH within standard ranges.[6][5]
- Differentiators include color-coded LED indicators summarizing air status at a glance and the ability to sync readings automatically via companion app over Bluetooth connection.[1][3][6]
How it works
The device draws ambient indoor air over its integrated sensors to measure airborne particles, VOCs, temperature, and humidity. Results are instantly analyzed onboard then transmitted through Bluetooth to a connected mobile device where trends can be viewed in real time or logged historically for detailed analysis.
