There are two main families of advertising "flags": the classic flag, of the same type as a national flag (a sail fixed on a pole, hoisted by rope or tensioned by a bracket), and the beach flag (or feather flag), a free-standing device made up of a base, a pole and a sail, designed to fly in the wind. This category covers classic flags, as well as kakemonos, table flags and hand flags.
By the sublimation method: the inks are heated to a high temperature until they reach a gaseous state, then projected onto the fabric to become one with it. This process guarantees colours that last over time. The inks used are water-based, on a polyester fabric support.
A 110 g/m² polyester with a locked triple knit: sturdy, light and washable at 30°C. Thanks to a high perforation rate, the graphic printed on the front also remains visible through transparency on the back.
Five main finishes: classic pole finish (strap on the left + 2 rings, for a flag that flies freely in the wind), bracket pole finish (strap, rings and a hem on top to accommodate the horizontal bracket), clean cut (cut and cauterised edge), perimeter reinforcement with eyelets every 50 cm (for use like a textile banner, fixable on a barrier), and perimeter reinforcement with eyelets at the 4 corners.
The classic pole is ideal for a horizontal flag that is easily hoisted by rope and flies freely in the wind. The bracket pole is recommended for a vertical flag: thanks to its horizontal bracket, the flag remains visible even without wind.
The poles are available in 6, 7 or 8 m high. The further the pole is from the road or passage, the more it is recommended to opt for a greater height to ensure good visibility.
It allows the flag to be changed easily and quickly. The rope and mechanism are hidden inside the pole, for a more refined finish.
It depends on the ground: on soft ground (lawn), the tilting base is recommended — it makes it easier in particular to change a bracket flag without having to lift the pole. On hard ground (concrete), a fixed base plate is preferable.
Yes, VEDI offers an all-inclusive installation package (pole + installation) in Belgium and Luxembourg, from about €599 excl. VAT. The poles can also be bought on their own (6 to 8 m) for self-installation; the transport of a device of this size is handled by VEDI.
Yes, it is possible to create your flag online and benefit from favourable prices on large quantities — a solution used in particular by supporters' clubs wanting flags printed in their colours. The designs are saved in the customer account to make reordering easier.
Free of charge, via the online Creator graphic design tool: after choosing the dimensions of the flag, simply select the "Personalise" then "Creator" option to import images, add a background, shapes or text, with a real-time preview on the product.
The kakemono is a suspended textile panel (taller than it is wide), designed to be hung in a shop or a window rather than fixed on an outdoor pole. It uses the same printing technique as the flag (sublimation on 110 g/m² polyester), but its finish is designed for hanging: it is generally delivered with a small tube or rod at the top and bottom and a hanging cord.
A miniature flag with its own free-standing base (33 cm high), printed on 180 g/m² polyester textile, available in 4 shapes. Ideal for a congress, a press conference or a seminar (place identification, sponsor, speaker). Sold in packs of 10 units.
A flag of 100 x 60 cm mounted on a 160 cm natural wood pole (12 mm diameter), light and comfortable to carry. It is intended for demonstrations, sporting events, gatherings, celebrations or promotional actions. Personalisation (logo, colours, message) is included in the price.
