VEDI Sticker FAQ

Printed stickers and adhesives are ideal tools to give more visibility to a point of sale, reinforce the impact of a brand or present promotions effectively. VEDI offers a wide range that covers all uses: shop windows, signage, vehicles, floor, walls.

It is possible to order a custom sticker from a single unit.

From 10 x 10 cm to 15 x 15 m, i.e. a possible giant image of 225 m². All dimensions are made to measure, to the nearest centimetre.

It depends on the support chosen: about 133-135 cm for most adhesives (monomer, frosted), 125 cm for outdoor window graphics, 150 cm for indoor window graphics depending on the support. If the smallest side of the sticker exceeds this width, the vinyl is divided vertically into several pieces with 1 cm of overlap, without loss of visual quality.

Prices start at a few euros and vary according to the product and size. As an example from the current catalogue: custom frosted sticker from €12.34 excl. VAT, custom sticker or for panel from €14.55 excl. VAT, universal easy-application adhesive from €17.60 excl. VAT, outdoor window graphics from €22.31 excl. VAT, indoor window graphics from €27.78 excl. VAT, vehicle sticker from €33.34 excl. VAT, printed adhesive lettering from €60.05 excl. VAT.

In many situations: shop windows and glass (window graphics), points of sale and shelves, vehicles, floor (marking, signage), walls (self-adhesive wallpaper), panels, or even on stand partitions.

No. VEDI provides a free graphic design tool (Creator) directly on the website: after choosing your dimensions and your support, click "Personalise" then "Compose online" to add background, text, shapes and images in a few clicks. It is also possible to call on a graphic designer, to whom you simply pass the link of the product page so they can download the corresponding template.

No, VEDI has simplified the process to keep application simple. For people who are inexperienced or worried about creating air bubbles, the universal (easy-application) sticker is recommended: its micro-glue dots let the air escape during application, and it can even be repositioned in case of a mistake. Accessories are also available to make application easier. In all cases, careful application (no bubbles, well tensioned) remains important for the brand image.

It is an adhesive with micro-glue dots, on a 100 µm satin-matte monomer support, certified fire B1 and M1. It lets the air escape during application (so no bubbles) and can be repositioned if the application goes wrong — ideal for people who have never applied an adhesive before.

Three main families: matte monomer adhesive (perfectly flat surface, matte finish, 100 µm), glossy monomer adhesive (perfectly flat surface, glossy finish, 95 µm) and glossy polymer adhesive (grey back, 70 µm, designed for irregular or curved surfaces such as a vehicle). All three are certified fire M1, usable both indoors and outdoors, with a printable width of 133 cm.

It is a sticker that is applied to a window or shop window, intended to be seen from the outside. It is generally used to announce the name of an establishment, a promotion, or to decorate a shop window (Christmas, sales) or offices in the company's colours.

Indoor application ensures a better lifespan for the graphic since it is not exposed to the weather. Outdoor application gives a better result and costs a little less. In both cases, it is possible to opt for a micro-perforated adhesive if you want to keep visibility from inside the shop while communicating to the outside.

It is an adhesive perforated with small holes that lets you communicate to the outside (the graphic is visible there) while keeping visibility to the outside from inside the shop — hence its English name "One Way Vision". It is available both in indoor and outdoor application.

You must first precisely measure the dimensions of the window to be covered, then enter these dimensions to the nearest centimetre on the product sheet. For the graphic, two options: call on a graphic designer (by passing them the link of the product page so they can download the template), or create your own graphic via the online Creator tool ("Personalise" then "Creator" option).

Printing is done in HD via 4-colour printers (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black), which is called four-colour process or "CMYK". It is the most widespread printing mode in the print industry, allowing a wide palette of colours to be reproduced from these 4 base shades.

It is a printed adhesive approved as anti-slip (ASTM C 1028-2007 standard), with a textured-finish (anti-reflective) lamination film that protects the print from abrasion, moisture and UV dulling. It is suitable for flat indoor surfaces (floor signage, stairs, tabletops). Its expected durability is about 3 years in a vertical position, but only 1 month in "floor graphics" use subject to indoor pedestrian traffic — heavy equipment (trolleys, pallet trucks) or intense traffic reduces this duration further, without VEDI being held liable for damage in that case. It resists brief immersion in water and brief contact with detergents/alcohols, but not ketones, esters or aromatic/chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Yes, it is a common use (for example for distancing marking): the anti-slip and resistant floor sticker is a simple and effective way to enforce traffic or safety rules within an establishment, with ready-to-use graphics available.

It is an adhesive with a "frosted" (matt) look, which imitates the effect of sandblasted or frosted glass. It is used to add discretion or decoration to a window or a glazed partition, without making it completely opaque. Its printable width is 135 cm; beyond that, the vinyl is assembled in several pieces with 1 cm of overlap.

It is a sticker intended for cutting or printing text/logo in large format (shop sign, shop window, vehicle). To order it: indicate the dimensions on the product sheet, choose the print support, click "Personalise" then "Compose online" to access the graphic design interface.

Yes, VEDI offers a specific sticker for vehicles. For an irregular or curved surface (bodywork), the glossy polymer adhesive is recommended because it is designed to follow this type of surface, unlike monomer adhesives which are reserved for perfectly flat surfaces.

Yes, VEDI offers a personalised self-adhesive wallpaper, which lets you dress a wall with a custom graphic, in the manner of a large-format sticker.

Yes, the customisable magnetic plate lets you display a graphic without using adhesive — practical for example for vehicle signage that you want to be able to remove easily without leaving a trace or damaging the paint.

Yes, if the part to be modified occupies less than 25% of the total image (for example a date, an email address, or a "Sold" on a "For sale" panel), it is possible to apply a complementary adhesive over it rather than redoing the whole graphic.
