VEDI Banners FAQ

Two main weights: the Eco 440g/m² banner (economical laminated PVC, indoor/outdoor use, recommended for formats under 20m², satin finish, resistance of an eyelet fitted with edge welding of about 30 kg) and the Pro 550g/m² banner, fire rated B1 (cast PVC, up to 400m², satin finish, eyelet resistance of about 50 kg).

The Mesh 290g/m² banner (also called vinyl net banner) is fire rated B1 and suitable for images up to 400m². Its micro-perforated design gives it a certain visibility through transparency: it is the ideal banner to install on a concert stage, in front of the speakers, to let the sound through. Matte finish, eyelet resistance of 40 kg.

The Indoor banner (about 325-330g/m²) is a high-tenacity coated polyester fabric, flame retardant M1-B1, specially designed for indoor use: fairs, trade shows, showrooms. It offers a high-definition result, a semi-matte finish and a tear resistance of 150 daN/5cm. Maximum printable width: 135 cm.

It is a 450g/m² PVC support with a grey back, dedicated to indoor use, with a satin finish and no standard dimension (100% custom). Sturdy, watertight and flame-retardant, it serves in particular as a print support for beach flags, banners/roll-ups (its grey back prevents the graphic from showing through the roller), stands and advertising tents, as well as for the adhesive version to stick on windows or walls.

Yes, a fire-resistance certificate B1 (German standard) or M1 (French standard — equivalent, the certificate is provided on request) is available on the relevant banners. This is strongly recommended for trade shows and fairs, due to the enclosed spaces. In France, the use of an M1 support is even mandatory for certain public venues, with a certificate to provide to the organiser.

It is available on 2 supports: the 110g/m² flag mesh or the 210g/m² polyester textile fire rated FR-B1. Both are made of 100% recyclable polyester and printed in high definition by dye sublimation with water-based inks — a process that projects the ink directly into the fabric fibre for a bright and durable result. A sturdy, light support washable in the machine at 30°C.

Yes. With a 98% perforation rate, the graphic printed on this support is visible both front and back.

Yes, it is even sturdier than an Eco 440g/m² PVC banner in terms of eyelet hold. These are reinforced by a strip sewn around the entire perimeter, which allows perfect tensioning of the banner in all situations.

Yes, the opaque Blockout 610g/m² banner offers perfect visibility on both sides, without any transparency effect.

It is an ecological support printed by the metre and delivered in a roll, mainly used for promotion at sporting or popular events, often installed on Nadar barriers. Once the event is over, it can be recycled or reused once or twice at most.

Yes, all dimensions are customisable to the nearest centimetre. Depending on the support chosen, you can create a banner as small as 20 x 20 cm and as large as 50 x 20 m.

It can be configured from 15 cm to 10 m. The printable width in a single piece is 133 cm maximum: beyond that, the graphic is divided vertically into several pieces with 1 cm of overlap, without loss of quality.

Two finishes are possible: clean cut (edge welding), or reinforced sewn strip with eyelets every 50 cm. The eyelets make fixing easier with simple cable ties or elastic hooks.

Yes, several advanced options exist: a 5 cm welded reinforcement around the perimeter, 3 sleeve configurations (top/bottom or sides without tube, or top/bottom with 2 Ø50mm aluminium tubes + hanging eyelets), and 7 eyelet or clip solutions (every 30, 40 or 50 cm, at the 4 corners, or with integrated OVIO clips).

As a general rule, a banner (or an advertising panel) is subject to a wind pressure of about 80 kg per m². Before fixing a large banner to a fence, it is recommended to check with a professional that the structure (foundations, ground, posts) can support this load.

Yes, there are banners without eyelets fitted with wooden dowels and elastics on the left and right sides, which can be fixed between two trees or two posts. VEDI also offers a ready-to-use "hanging banner", printed on PVC 550g/m² banner certified fire-resistant B1, available in several standard dimensions with all installation accessories included.

You have the choice between 2, 4 or 8 days. The price adjusts automatically according to the chosen time: the longer it is, the more you save.

An Eco 440g banner of 3 x 1 m costs about €41.88 excl. VAT with a production time of 8 days. The final price always depends on the support, dimensions, finishes and time chosen, to be checked via the online configurator.

There is a specific banner for Heras barriers, already perforated with eyelets around the entire perimeter. It unfolds easily along the whole length of the barrier and is fixed in a few minutes using cable ties (Serflex, also called zip ties).

Eco 440g (2.47 kg), Pro 550g (3.1 kg), micro-perforated Mesh (1.64 kg), or 110g/m² polyester textile with locked triple knit (0.62 kg, ultra-light, machine washable at 30°C, sewn eyelet resistance of 35 kg).

Yes, it is possible to order Heras barriers directly on the website, as well as all the necessary accessories: feet, connecting pieces and reinforcements. It is also possible to tension an advertising banner on a Nadar barrier (aluminium barrier of the police-barrier type).

Yes, it is a common solution to make repair or renovation work pay off in urban areas: VEDI is used to handling images of several hundred m² for this type of project, easy to install or installed directly by the VEDI teams.

The adhesive banner, also called a "post-it" banner, is easily applied to a wall, a stand partition or furniture, and comes off without leaving a trace or damaging the support. It is even repositionable — simpler to apply than a classic sticker.

This glue on the back of the banner greatly facilitates application and helps to mask small imperfections of the support. It can be applied by non-professionals.

For a window graphics application, the dot glue is placed directly on the graphic side of the banner (solid or micro-perforated). This allows the graphic to be stuck inside a window for visibility to the outside, while protecting it from the weather and vandalism (tags, damage). Note: if the glazing is tinted or fitted with a reflective film, the result of the graphic may be darkened.

It is the most economical solution to display a banner on a façade or a wall: the banner is fixed with elastics. This system is suitable for images up to 100 m².

The OVIO frame (available in particular in an OVIO Light version) is made of anodised aluminium: it completely hides the fixing device and the eyelets, to give the impression of a panel or a screen, with perfect tensioning of the banner. It allows giant images of over 300 m² (up to 320-400 m² in the Master range, from 1 m² in the Light range). It is TÜV certified and resists extreme temperatures (-35°C to +80°C) as well as violent winds.

Yes, changing the graphic takes less than 30 minutes and requires a minimum of tools and labour.

For an occasional banner, a standard banner with eyelets (from 3m x 1m) is more than enough and remains economical. For longer use or repeated exposure, opt for the Pro 550g banner, which is sturdier. The eyelets allow quick fixing with cable ties or elastic hooks on any existing structure (fencing, free-standing structure, Heras or Nadar barrier).

Yes. For an exhibition, a large outdoor banner draws the public towards the stand, and an indoor banner (with top/bottom hems, hung by simple cables) contributes to the decoration. For a reception or the decoration of a high hall, a few hanging banners are enough to create an event atmosphere.

The whole process is done online on vedi-express.com: select your product, then upload your logo/graphic or create it free of charge in a few minutes via the built-in design tool (Creator), which automatically adapts to the chosen dimensions.
