Usage
This 9-piece Allen Torx key set is designed for tightening and loosening Torx and hex screws across automotive, electronics, machinery, and industrial maintenance tasks.
Advantages
- Covers a wide range of standard and security Torx sizes from T8 to T50 for versatile use
- Long-arm L-shaped design improves reach and torque in confined or deep spaces
- Manufactured from heat-treated chrome vanadium or alloy steel for increased strength and durability
- Chamfered edges on both arms ensure smooth engagement with fixings, reducing wear on keys and fasteners
- Supplied with a practical storage holder for organized transport; may lack ball-end tips depending on specific model variation[1][3]
Specifications
- L-shaped long-arm design made from heat-treated chrome vanadium (CrV) or alloy steel with corrosion-resistant finish[1][3]
- Satin or nickel-plated finish enhances protection against rust; conforms to applicable ASME/ANSI standards[1][3]
- Sizing includes T8–T50 (most used Torx sizes), lengths typically ranging from about 68 mm (T10) to approximately 160 mm (T50); set weight around 0.38 lbs[1][3]
- Bilateral chamfered tips ease insertion into screw heads; fits both standard and tamper-proof security Torx fasteners if holes are included on ends[3]
How it works
Select the appropriate key size from the holder. Insert the chamfered tip into the corresponding hexagonal or star-shaped screw head, then turn by hand using the long arm for leverage in tight spots or higher torque applications.
