Usage
The Fischer F10M x 92mm metal rod is designed for secure, stress-free stand-off installation of window and door frames in concrete or solid masonry. Suitable for use in both new builds and renovation projects.
Advantages
- Provides reliable, rigid fixation for window and frame structures.
- Ensures stress-free installation to prevent frame distortion over time.
- Zinc-plated steel design offers corrosion resistance for long-term durability.
- Straightforward through-fixing installation with standardized drill diameter (10 mm).
- Compatible with PZ3 drive tools, simplifying assembly.
Specifications
- Manufactured from high-quality electro zinc-plated steel with precision-engineered metal sleeve construction.[1][2]
- Suits demanding environments; provides corrosion resistance suitable for internal framework applications.[1][5]
- Total anchor length: 92 mm. Effective anchorage depth: typically around 30 mm. Required drill diameter: Ø10 mm per fixing.[1]
- PZ3 screw drive compatibility ensures fast, tool-friendly mounting; supplied as a box of 100 pieces ideal for large installations.[1][2]
How it works
The F10M anchor is inserted into a pre-drilled hole (Ø10 mm) through the fixture. Tightening the screw expands the metal sleeve within the substrate, locking the frame securely without causing expansion pressure on sensitive materials like window profiles.[1][2]
