Usage
The CMT 254x30 - Z48 universal saw blade is designed for precise and clean crosscuts and rip cuts in wood, plywood, laminate, MDF, and similar composite materials using compatible circular saws.
Advantages
- Chromium-plated body enhances rust and corrosion resistance for extended tool life[1][4][7].
- Laser-cut steel plate ensures tight tolerances for high precision cutting jobs[7].
- Micrograin carbide teeth maintain sharpness longer, reducing edge abrasion during prolonged use[7].
- CNC ground tooth geometry delivers consistently smooth finishes on a variety of wood-based materials[7].
- Polyurethane-filled vibration dampening slots lower noise by up to 25% compared to standard blades[7].
Specifications
- Design / Materials: Precision laser-cut German steel plate (46–48 HRC), micrograin chromium carbide-tipped teeth, anti-vibration polyurethane slots; chrome-plated surface resists corrosion [1][4][7].
- Durability / Certifications: Chromium coating increases wear resistance; engineered for heavy-duty professional use with enhanced resilience against abrasive materials [1][4][7].
- Performance Data: Diameter: 254 mm; Bore: 30 mm; Number of teeth: Z48. Suitable feed per tooth ranges from approximately 0.10–0.35 mm for crosscutting wood-based panels at an optimal cutting speed near 70 m/sec[8]; designed for fine-to-medium finishing cuts.
- Differentiators: Tri-metal brazed carbide teeth withstand impact from harder woods or composites; laser expansion slots prevent blade warping under heat buildup [7]; multi-purpose compatibility with most table or mitre circular saws.
How it works
The blade mounts onto the arbor of a compatible circular saw. As the motor spins the blade at recommended RPMs, each CNC-ground carbide tooth precisely shears through material on contact—producing clean edges thanks to optimized tooth count and advanced vibration-absorbing design features.
