- Continuous duty operation supports uninterrupted shredding without cooling breaks.
- Robust steel cutting rollers can process staples, paper clips, CDs, and credit cards.
- Low noise level (approx. 58 dB) minimizes disruption in shared office environments.
- The large waste bin (55 liters) reduces frequency of emptying but increases total unit weight when full.
Specifications
- The shredder features induction-hardened solid steel cutting rollers housed in a durable casing with a wooden floor; build quality is “Made in Germany.”
- Carries certifications such as Blue Angel for environmental standards and data destruction per DIN 66399 P-5; parts and labor warranty of five years on machine and lifetime on the cutters.
- Shreds up to approximately 13 sheets per pass at a speed of up to about twelve feet per minute; waste bin holds up to about fourteen gallons (55 liters).
- Differentiators include automatic start/stop via light barrier sensor, anti-jam technology with automatic reverse function, Energy Management Control System reducing standby power consumption to as low as 0.1 watts, inspection window for fill level monitoring, silent operation motor design for workplace comfort.
How it works
The user feeds documents or other allowable materials into the feed slot; sensors automatically activate the cross-cut blades which shred items into fine particles collected within an integrated bin. Automatic stop functions help prevent overfilling or jamming while keeping energy use minimal during standby periods.
