Usage
The Face avant à glissière Dorint 915 is designed for use in conjunction with the Dorint 915 concealed cam-action door closer system. It provides a visually integrated solution for smooth and controlled closing of interior doors, ideal for commercial and public buildings.
Advantages
- Concealed installation preserves the aesthetic appearance of the door and frame.
- Cam-action mechanism enables low opening resistance, enhancing accessibility.
- Suitable for left and right-handed doors (non-handed design).
- Adjustable closing and latching speeds via accessible valves.
- Cushioned limit stay helps protect doors and walls from impact during wide opening angles.
Specifications
- The faceplate is part of a slide channel system, made from durable materials to support daily heavy usage with a compact design (body length: approx. 230 mm; height: approx. 57 mm; width: approx. 36 mm).
- The complete Dorint/Dormakaba ITS 915 system complies with EN 1154 standards for performance, is C UL US listed, and meets DIN 18040 barrier-free requirements.
- Suits door leaf thicknesses ≥45 mm; accommodates maximum leaf weights up to approximately 90 kg (for EN size 4) or up to door widths of 1,100 mm.
- The slide channel allows adjustable two-speed closing (via separate valves), cushioned final stop between ~80°–115°, optional hold-open at the required angle except on fire/smoke doors.
How it works
The faceplate slides as part of a slim channel assembly installed within the door or frame. When paired with its compatible cam-action closer body, it enables smooth operation—controlling both opening resistance and adjustable closing speeds while protecting against excess swing through integrated cushioning features.
