Usage
This kit of 4 security and ventilation strikes is designed for left-handed wooden windows or doors equipped with Hautau SP fittings, specifically compatible with Eurofalz 24 mm profiles and a 13 mm axis. It ensures secure closure while enabling controlled ventilation in residential or commercial buildings.
Advantages
- Provides both security locking and a dedicated ventilation function via a forced path design.
- Allows an opening of approximately 7 mm at the gasket for air circulation without compromising safety.
- Facilitates compliance with advanced burglary resistance standards (can be integrated into RC2/WK2 security concepts).
- Enables straightforward retrofitting or replacement on compatible wood profiles using standard tools.
- An optional magnetic contact can be added for integration into monitoring systems if needed.[1][3]
Specifications
- Designed for wood window/door systems: Eurofalz groove width of 24 mm, fitting axis at 13 mm, left-hand configuration only.
- Main construction material: robust metal suitable for repeated use; part of the proven Hautau SP system.[1]
- The strike profile allows a gasket lift/opening of approximately ±7 mm to enable permanent micro-ventilation without fully unlocking the sash.[1][3]
- Differentiating feature: combines two functions—security locking and air exchange—in a single compact element per strike; optimized geometry ensures reliable operation over time.[1][3]
How it works
The security/aération strikes are installed onto wooden window or door frames in place of standard pressure strikes. When engaged by the corresponding hardware, they allow limited opening (about +/-7 mm) to promote airflow while maintaining security against forced entry. Installation requires basic adjustment according to handle side orientation and frame geometry.[1][3]
