Usage
The TOPBAND expansive foam joint is designed for effective sealing of connection and expansion joints from 3 to 7 mm wide, typically used in window frames, masonry, wood and concrete structures.

Specifications
- Made of soft polyurethane foam impregnated with acrylic dispersion, supplied pre-compressed on a roll with one self-adhesive side
- Certified BG1 according to DIN18542; fire resistance class B1 as per DIN4102 standards
- Sustains joint width expansion from approximately 3 mm up to a maximum of about 23 ± 1 mm; roll size: width/depth 15 mm, length 15 m
- Airtight, watertight, acoustically insulating, compatible with most standard building materials, black color for UV protection and discreet finish
How it works
The tape is applied directly into the joint while compressed. Once positioned between structural elements such as window frames or walls, it gradually expands to fill the gap fully, creating a permanent elastic seal that resists water infiltration while allowing vapour diffusion.
