Usage
Abrasif Garnet 200 Mesh is designed for precision surface cleaning and finishing using aerogommage or high-pressure blasting equipment. It is optimal for delicate restoration tasks on wood, stone, metal, and other sensitive surfaces.
Advantages
- Ultra-fine grain size (0.07–0.15 mm) ensures minimal surface roughness while effectively removing contaminants
- Low dust generation promotes a cleaner work environment and improved visibility during blasting operations
- Chemically inert and non-toxic composition supports operator safety and environmental responsibility
- High durability—can be recycled up to five times without significant loss of performance or efficiency
- No heavy metals or radioactive elements; meets demanding health and safety standards for abrasive media use
Specifications
- Manufactured from natural almandine garnet with sub-angular particle shape for effective yet gentle abrasion [Mohs hardness: 7–7.5]
- Packed in robust, moisture-resistant bags of 25 kg suitable for secure transport and storage [Bulk density: ~2.4 kg/dm³]
- Grain size: mesh #200 (0.07–0.15 mm); optimized for fine cleaning of sensitive substrates without damage to the base material [1][4][10]
- Chemical properties: Inert mineral content; silica content <1%, free from hazardous impurities [4][5]
How it works
Abrasif Garnet 200 Mesh is loaded into a compatible aerogommage or high-pressure cleaning system, where compressed air projects the ultra-fine particles onto targeted surfaces to softly remove coatings, residues, or soiling without damaging underlying materials.
