Usage
The Bosch GIM 60 L electronic level is used for precise digital measurement and transfer of inclines or angles, ideal for professional alignment tasks in construction, carpentry, metalworking, and interior finishing.
Advantages
- Integrated point laser enables incline measurement and transfer over distances up to 30 meters.
- High accuracy with electronics measuring ±0.05° at 0°/90°, ensuring reliable results.
- Strong magnets and two fastening straps allow secure attachment to workpieces.
- The illuminated rotating display ensures excellent readability in various working positions or lighting conditions.
- A minor drawback: separate batteries are required for the measurement unit and the laser function.
Specifications
- The tool features a robust aluminum housing with integrated point laser (class 2), designed for professional environments.
- Dust- and splash-resistant according to IP54 standard; suitable for harsh site conditions.
- Measurement range: 0–360° (4 x 90°); electronics accuracy at 0°/90°: ±0.05°, at 1–89°: ±0.1°. Working range of point laser is up to 30 m. Levelling accuracy of the laser is ±0.5 mm/m. Weight approximately 0.91 kg; length: 60 cm; supports units °, %, mm/m; tripod thread: 1/4".
- Differentiators include memory function (hold/copy), audio guide signal at target angles, and automatic display rotation for overhead or inverted measurements.
How it works
The GIM 60 L electronically measures inclines using its digital sensor system; readings are displayed numerically on an illuminated screen that rotates automatically for ease of view. The integrated point laser allows users to replicate measured angles onto distant targets by projecting a visible reference line.
