Uni Posca PC-5M is a water-based paint marker with a medium 1.8–2.5 mm round tip in dark brown, designed for clean, opaque lines and versatile creative work on a wide range of surfaces.
Shake the marker well with the cap on, then prime the tip by pressing it on scrap material until the ink flows evenly. Use the round tip to draw, write, or fill areas on your chosen surface, allowing the paint to dry fully. On porous surfaces the mark becomes permanent; on many smooth, non-porous surfaces it can be cleaned or overwritten as needed.
Can this marker be used on multiple surfaces?
Yes, it is suitable for most surfaces including paper, cardboard, wood, stone, glass, plastic, metal, fabric, and ceramics.
Is the ink permanent?
It is permanent on porous surfaces such as wood, paper, and cardboard, and generally removable or rewritable on many non-porous, sealed surfaces.
Is the ink water-based and odorless?
Yes, the marker uses water-based pigment ink that is virtually odorless, making it comfortable for indoor use.
How wide is the line produced by the PC-5M tip?
The medium bullet tip produces an approximate line width between 1.8 mm and 2.5 mm, depending on pressure and angle.
Can the colors be mixed or layered?
Yes, the ink is miscible and can be blended while wet; once dry, you can apply additional layers or contrasting colors on top.
