Usage
The Rothenberger stepped key for radiator valves is designed for installing and removing radiator valve nipples, non-return valves, and short faucet extensions in plumbing systems. Suitable for professional and renovation contexts.
Advantages
- Enables efficient assembly and disassembly of various radiator valve components
- Compatible with multiple sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1" hexagonal or twelve-point fittings
- Special design prevents jamming within threads and fittings
- Durable construction using hardened chrome vanadium steel with nickel plating
- Straightforward operation with integrated 1/2" ratchet mechanism; relatively heavy (670 g) which may require firm handling in tight spaces[1][5]
Specifications
- Constructed from hardened chrome vanadium steel, nickel-plated finish for corrosion resistance[1][5]
- No-blocking stepped profile aligns to plumbing standards; designed for intensive professional use[5]
- Total weight: approximately 670 g / Length: 90 mm / Ergots compatible with both six- and twelve-point profiles from 3/8" to 1"[1][5]
- Differentiator: Stepped multi-size head allows a single tool to fit multiple valve diameters, reducing the need to switch tools on-site[1][9]
How it works
The user inserts the appropriate step of the key into the corresponding valve or nipple size (3/8", 1/2", 3/4", or 1"). The built-in ratchet handle enables easy rotation to loosen or tighten fittings without getting stuck inside threaded assemblies.
