Usage
The Hegner Multicut 1 scroll saw is designed for precise curve and intricate shape cutting in wood, plastics, and non-ferrous metals. It is suited for workshops, schools, and hobbyists working on detailed scrollwork projects.
Advantages
- Solid cast iron construction ensures stability during operation.
- Tilting aluminum work table (0–45°) allows beveled and angled cuts.
- Powerful asynchronous motor supports continuous use with low noise levels.
- Quick blade tensioning system facilitates efficient blade changes for internal cuts.
- Lacks quick-release blade clamps, requiring manual changes which may slow workflow slightly compared to higher-end models.

How it works
The Multicut 1 scroll saw operates by driving a fine blade vertically through the workpiece while the user guides the material along the desired path. The adjustable table enables both straight and angled cuts. Blade changes can be performed quickly thanks to an accessible clamping mechanism.[8]
