Usage
Parabond 600 brown is a high-performance sealant and adhesive suitable for bonding and sealing joints in construction, metalwork, woodwork, and facade elements. It is ideal for interior and exterior applications where flexible adhesion is required.
Advantages
- Permanently elastic for effective movement absorption in joints
- Adheres to most common building materials without primer
- Resistant to weathering, UV rays, and moisture once cured
- Solvent-free formulation with low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Cures rapidly through air humidity; minor shrinkage during curing may occur
Specifications
- Silan-terminated polymer (STP) technology; brown color; supplied in a standard 290ml cartridge; extrudable consistency for easy application by caulking gun.
- Excellent durability under outdoor conditions; conforms to ISO standards for elastic sealants used in construction.
- Makes permanently elastic seals capable of absorbing movement up to ±25%; skin formation time approximately 10–15 minutes at standard conditions.
- Tack-free after curing, paintable with most water-based paints once fully cured; non-corrosive on metals or sensitive substrates.
How it works
The product is applied directly from the cartridge into joints or onto surfaces using a caulking gun. On contact with atmospheric moisture, it cures into an elastomeric rubber that provides durable sealing or structural bonding between materials.
