Usage
DL Chemicals Parasilico VP Transparent is a paintable, neutral-curing silicone sealant for glazing and connection joints. Used mainly in building applications, it is suitable for both interior and exterior use where transparent or discreet sealing is needed.

- Curing system: Moisture curing; skin forms after approx. 15 minutes at standard conditions (23°C/50% RH)
- Densitiy: approx. 1.22 g/ml; Shore A hardness: 26 (ISO 868); Elongation at break: 150% (ISO 8339)
- Cures at rate of approximately 2 mm per day; supports deformation up to 20%; elastic recovery >90%
- Permanently stable from -50°C to +150°C operating temperature range; approved EN15651-1 F EXT-INT/20LM and EN15651-2 G/20LM standards

provided in a transparent finish in cartridges of either 310 ml or 300 ml sizes
recommended shelf life 12 months unopened,
stored between +5°C and +25°C out of direct sunlight.
For best results on some porous surfaces,
a compatible primer may be required.
How it works
The sealant is applied directly from the cartridge into clean joints using a standard caulking gun. It cures by absorbing moisture from the air, forming an elastic joint that can be painted over after full cure—making it suitable for seamless integration into painted or exposed finishes.
