Usage
DL Chemicals Parasilico VP is a neutral-curing, paintable silicone sealant designed for glazing joints and general construction applications, including both indoor and outdoor sealing on natural stone, glass, treated wood, concrete, and similar substrates.
Advantages
- Permanently elastic to accommodate movement in joints and prevent cracking
- Paintable with most wood paints after full curing for a seamless finish
- Resistant to UV radiation, ageing, and extreme weather conditions from -50°C to +150°C
- Excellent adhesion to almost all building materials without primer on non-porous substrates
- No volatile organic compounds (VOC-free), ensuring safer application in enclosed spaces
Specifications

- Pasta-like consistency with density approx. 1.22 g/ml; cures by humidity at around 2 mm/24 h (23°C /50% RH); Shore A hardness: ~26; elastic recovery >90%; max deformation: up to 20%
- Shelf life of unopened cartridge is up to twelve months when stored cool (+5°C–25°C); available in white RAL9010 or RAL9016 cartridges of either 300 ml or approximately equivalent sizes[1][3]
How it works
Smooth the silicone along clean joint surfaces using a standard caulking gun. The sealant cures by absorbing moisture from the air, forming an elastic joint that can be overpainted once fully cured for integrated appearance with frames or masonry.
