Usage
Parasilico Sanitair blanc is a neutral, sanitary-grade silicone sealant designed for sealing joints in humid and wet environments such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and cold rooms.
Advantages
- Permanently elastic for durable joint flexibility[1][5]
- Mould and fungus resistant for sanitary applications[1][5]
- Withstands temperature extremes from -60°C to +180°C[3][7]
- Very good adhesion on most building and sanitary materials without primer[5]
- No staining of natural stone or marble surfaces[3]
Specifications
- Design: Neutral-cure, single-component (RTV-1) silicone based on polysiloxanes; supplied in a white cartridge of 310 ml or 300 ml[5][3]
- Durability: High resistance against aging, weathering, humidity; permanently elastic even after long-term exposure to water or temperature changes; mould-inhibiting additives incorporated; conforms to FDA code requirements for food contact (21 CFR §177.2600)[5][1]
- Performance: Application temperature range from +5°C to +40°C; in-service temperature range from -60°C up to +180°C continuously; excellent elasticity maintained during movement of expansion joints[3][7]
- Differentiators: Suitable for a wide variety of construction materials including aluminium, glass, ceramics, enamel, treated wood and rigid PVC—applies easily with standard caulking guns and does not cause stains on sensitive substrates like marble or natural stone[3][5]
How it works
The sealant is applied into clean dry joints using a caulking gun. It cures at room temperature through contact with ambient moisture to form an elastic rubber that accommodates movement while preventing water ingress and mould growth in wet areas.
