Usage
Rectavit Neospray 1049 is a universal contact adhesive designed for bonding and laminating wood, decorative panels, laminate, veneer, PVC skirting boards, leather, cork, textiles, and metals on diverse substrates in industrial or construction settings.
Advantages
- Ultra-fine spray pattern allows precise application with minimal overspray
- Very thin adhesive layer reduces overall glue consumption
- No need for overlapping during application saves time and material
- Fast drying time ensures rapid assembly and handling of joined parts
- Chemically resistant to light acids and bases; not suitable for materials containing plasticizers
Specifications
- Formulation: Polychloroprene (neoprene-based) contact adhesive; delivered in a portable canister (22.1 liters)
- Durability: Highly moisture-resistant; withstands temperatures from –15°C to +115°C; methylene chloride-free formula
- Covers up to approximately 165 m² per container under optimal conditions; open time ranges from minimum of two minutes up to forty-five minutes depending on environment and substrate porosity
- Differentiating feature: Requires no external spray equipment—canister is pressurized and ready-to-use anywhere without electricity or compressed air
How it works
The adhesive is applied by spraying an ultra-fine mist onto both surfaces to be bonded. After a brief waiting period for solvent evaporation (typically between two to five minutes), the parts are pressed together. Bond forms immediately with high initial strength.
