Usage
Stanley Type G staples, 14 mm, are designed for reliable fastening in heavy-duty tasks such as securing insulation, carpet underlay, roofing felt, and general construction or repair work involving staple guns compatible with Type G staples.
Advantages
- Compatible with a range of manual and electric staple guns using Type G staples
- Galvanized steel construction for resistance to corrosion and consistent performance
- Narrow crown design enables precise stapling with minimal material splitting
- Packed in a sturdy box of 1,000 pieces for reduced reload frequency on jobsites
- Straight legs offer secure penetration in both softwood and some hardwood surfaces; not suitable for very hard or dense materials without pre-drilling
Specifications
- Material: Galvanized steel for enhanced durability and rust protection
- Crown width: Approximately 11.4 mm (narrow crown pattern)
- Leg length: 14 mm per staple; suitable for substrates up to approximately this thickness depending on material hardness
- Pack quantity: Box of approximately 1,000 staples ensures supply efficiency during projects
- Smooth chisel points promote clean entry into materials while reducing the risk of jams within compatible tools
How it works
The staples are loaded into a compatible staple gun. When triggered, each staple is driven through the chosen material—such as wood or fabric—securing it firmly against an underlying surface. The robust steel build minimizes bending and allows repeat use in demanding environments.
