Usage
The UCS Sintesi 2000 chain motor is designed for automated opening and closing of windows, particularly in ventilation systems for residential, commercial, or public buildings. It is suitable for top-hung, bottom-hung, or skylight windows.
Advantages
- Efficient automation of window opening and closing provides improved indoor air quality and comfort.
- Electromechanical design ensures consistent performance with minimal user effort required.
- Robust chain drive enables operation of heavy or large window sashes.
- Slim aluminum housing in silver finish integrates discreetly with modern architectural styles.
- 230 Vac power supply supports integration into standard building electrical systems; may require dedicated wiring during installation.
Specifications
- The Sintesi 2000 features a durable extruded aluminum body with an anodized silver finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
- The motor mechanism includes a steel-reinforced chain to provide reliable operation over thousands of cycles; designed to comply with relevant European standards on safety and electrical compatibility (such as CE marking).
- The operator delivers a maximum push/pull force typically up to approximately 200 N (refer to product datasheet), suitable for most standard casement or awning windows.
Stroke length options commonly range from around 250 mm up to about 400 mm depending on model configuration.
Power supply: single-phase AC at nominal voltage of 230 V.
Rated power consumption approximates between ~20–30 W per cycle depending on load conditions.
Operating temperature: usually -5°C to +50°C (consult manufacturer data sheet if precise range required).
- Differentiating features include compact profile (motor depth often less than ~60 mm), integrated limit switches for fully open/closed positions, secure mounting brackets provided as part of the kit, and low-noise operation suitable for office or living spaces.
How it works
This chain actuator connects directly to the sash frame. When activated by wall switch or control panel, the internal electric motor extends or retracts the chain arm, smoothly moving the window open or closed. End-of-travel limit switches automatically stop movement when fully opened or closed. Compatible with centralized building management systems where remote ventilation control is needed.
