Usage
Designed for automating the opening and closing of windows, the UCS Super Master 24 Vdc chain actuator is ideal for ventilating high-level windows, roof vents, or domes in residential and commercial spaces. Suitable for integration with smoke and heat extraction systems.
Advantages
- Compatible with smoke and heat extraction systems following UNI EN 12101-2 standards
- Provides a maximum push force of 400 N for reliable movement of medium to large window sashes
- Slim anodized silver aluminum housing ensures durability and an unobtrusive appearance
- Supports parallel connection for synchronized multi-window operation using polarity inversion controls
- Requires external mounting brackets (not included), which must be ordered separately
Specifications
- Anodized silver aluminum body with reinforced double-link stainless steel chain mechanism for enhanced strength and corrosion resistance
- Lifespan supported by built-in electronic limit stops; certified according to UNI EN 12101-2 for use in critical safety applications such as SHEV (Smoke & Heat Exhaust Ventilation)
- Operates at a rated voltage of 24 Vdc ±15%, delivering a maximum thrust force of up to 400 N; stroke lengths available: typically from 450 mm to up to1000 mm depending on model variant; current consumption at max load: approx.1.2 A;
- Differentiating features include electronic intermediate position stop in case of overload, optional speed synchronization across multiple actuators, and compact design measuring approximately W35 x H57 mm (case dimensions vary by stroke length)
How it works
The actuator operates via a controllable double-link chain that extends or retracts when powered by a reversible low-voltage signal. This movement pushes or pulls the connected window sash smoothly open or closed, supporting both daily ventilation needs and critical emergency functions.
