Usage
The Super Knips 125mm electronic side cutter is designed for precision cutting of fine wires in electronics, precision mechanics, and similar technical applications. It is ideal for work on printed circuit boards and delicate components.
Advantages
- Ultra-sharp, ground cutting edges without bevel allow flush cuts even on abutting wires as thin as 0.2 mm.
- Induction-hardened cutting edges deliver a long service life and consistent performance.
- Slim head design enables effortless work in confined spaces on densely packed circuits.
- Opening spring and limiter ensure smooth operation with reduced hand fatigue during repetitive tasks.
- Lightweight construction (approx. 57 g) supports extended use with minimal strain.
Specifications
- The pliers are manufactured from special tool steel; the head is burnished and polished for durability. Multi-component grips provide ergonomic handling.[1][7]
- The tool meets rigorous quality standards such as DIN ISO 9654.[4]
- Overall length: 125 mm; jaw length: 9 mm; jaw thickness at joint: 7.5 mm; head width: 12.5 mm.[1] Cutting capacity soft wire: up to Ø1.6 mm, copper wire from Ø0.2–1.6 mm, medium-hard wire up to Ø1 mm.[4][9]
- Differentiating features include no bevel for accurate flush cuts, very smooth movement due to frictionless handle spring, precisely shaped tips for close-to-component work, an opening limiter, and robust stainless steel rivet at the joint.[1][7]
How it works
The jaws grip the target wire securely while ultra-sharp induction-hardened blades shear through it cleanly without crushing adjacent components. The integrated opening spring automatically resets the handles after each cut for efficient workflow in delicate or repetitive tasks.
