Usage
This DIN lock is designed for left-handed (DIN R) single-point applications on public, residential, or commercial doors using notch (entrée) cylinders. Suitable for renovation or construction projects requiring reliable mechanical security and anti-friction performance.

Specifications
- Design & Materials: Lock case is galvanized and blue lacquered; forend in satin stainless steel AISI 304; triple-latch bolt mechanism in sintered, nickel-plated steel.
- Durability & Standards: Fire resistance tested up to EN standards—up to two hours on wooden doors, four hours on metal doors. Certified per DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management.
- Measurable Performance: Backset: 55 mm; centre distance: 72 mm; follower: Ø8 mm steel. Forend dimensions: width of up to 24 mm x length of approximately 235 mm. Single-throw deadbolt extends by up to approx. 20 mm.
- Differentiating Features: Includes anti-thrust/anti-friction latch technology, noise-damping features as standard, transmission bar compatibility, prepared for euro-profile cylinder integration.
How it works
The lock operates using a key inserted into a compatible euro-profile cylinder. Turning the key withdraws or extends the nickel-plated deadbolt and activates the antifriction latch mechanism, allowing smooth engagement or release of the door with minimal closing noise and reduced wear over time.
