Usage
This DIN lock by CES is designed for single-point locking on left-hand doors in public or commercial projects. It ensures secure, durable closure and is suitable for exterior or interior wooden and metal doors requiring robust daily operation.
Advantages
- Complies with strict DIN and EN standards for consistent quality and compatibility with European project requirements.
- Features an antifriction latch bolt, reducing wear and ensuring quiet door closing over extended use.
- Satin stainless steel finish provides a modern look while resisting corrosion in demanding environments.
- Makes use of a reinforced steel TENAX clamp follower (8 mm), adding long-term mechanical reliability.
- The lock is handed (DIN right/left available), so it matches precise installation needs but limits reversibility if requirements change.

- Durability & Standards: Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001, EN12209, fire rated up to 120 minutes on wood doors, up to 240 minutes on metal doors.
- Performance: Backset: 65 mm; Center distance: 72 mm; Suitable for euro-profile cylinder (PZ type key); Forend length: approx. 235 mm.
- Differentiating Features: Antifriction pêne prevents sticking or excessive noise. Compatible with public/high-frequency environments. Secure construction resists forced entry attempts.
How it works
The user inserts a compatible euro-profile key into the cylinder to operate the latch and deadbolt mechanism. Turning the key retracts the nickel-plated latch bolt smoothly thanks to its antifriction design, securing or releasing the door as needed during frequent daily use in high-traffic settings.
