This black steel rod is designed for use with traditional “vieille ardenne” cremone locks, commonly fitted on heritage or classic wooden windows and doors in restoration projects or period properties.
The rod transmits the rotational movement from the cremone lock handle to vertical locking points at the window or door extremities. It may be cut and attached at each end as needed during fitting. Fixings are chosen based on frame material.[1][4]
