Usage
This mechanism with surface-mounted 1600mm rod is designed for use on tilt-and-turn windows, offering secure multi-point closure and ease of operation for window systems requiring a faux cremone solution.
Advantages
- Compatible with oscillo-battant (tilt-and-turn) profiles, ensuring versatile installation.
- Supplied as a complete set: central case with handle, two end guides, two strikes, and a bridge for straightforward mounting.
- Cemented and patinated steel construction enhances resistance to wear and corrosion over time.
- L-handle design allows ergonomic gripping and effortless actuation in multiple positions (0°, 90°, 180°).
- Includes all necessary mounting screws; optional extensions are available to compensate for special frame requirements.
Specifications
- The set includes: central box with L-handle, two end brackets (cavaliers), two steel strikes (gâches), one connecting bridge; tringles in treated steel or polished brass variant. Finish: cemented patinated steel.
- Treated materials ensure increased service life; components resist deformation through regular use. The product adheres to standard fitting practices for European tilting window systems.[1][2]
- Total rod length: 1600 mm. Handle positions offer secure locking at defined angles (0°, 90°, 180°) for operational flexibility.[1][2]
- Differentiates itself by providing quick installation out-of-the-box thanks to included fasteners and designed compatibility with commonly used tilt-and-turn profiles. Optional risers of 14 mm facilitate adaptation to various frame depths.[1][2]
How it works
The mechanism connects the central handle unit via rods to locking points at the ends of the window sash. Turning the handle actuates these rods, engaging or releasing the locking points simultaneously, which secures or opens the window based on its position.[1][2]
