Usage
This pair of security escutcheons in 304 stainless steel is designed to protect euro profile (PZ) cylinders on doors with a thickness of 35 to 80 mm, suitable for both residential and commercial entry doors.
Advantages
- Constructed from solid AISI 304 brushed stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance and durability[1][8].
- Beveled outer edge design helps prevent forced removal or prying attempts[1][2].
- Suitable for exterior use thanks to weather-resistant materials and finish[1][8].
- Through-bolted assembly with M6 screws offers a secure, tamper-resistant installation[1][2].
- Minimal cylinder projection due to multiple thickness options; may require selection matching door specifics.[1]
Specifications
- Material: Solid brushed AISI/EN 304 stainless steel. Suitable for public or private environments exposed to varying conditions.[1][7]
- Abrasion & Corrosion Resistance: High; built to withstand frequent use and exposure without performance loss. Stainless construction ensures long-term integrity.[8]
- PZ imprint compatibility: Supports standard euro profile locks. For door thicknesses between 35 mm and 80 mm.
Total escutcheon thickness: 6 mm per piece (inner cap approx. 6.5 mm thick, Ø53 mm)[1].
Tamper-resistance: screws accessible only from the inside. - Differentiating feature: brushed finish ensures discrete appearance while providing high protection against mechanical attacks.
How it works
The two escutcheon pieces are installed on each side of the door: the internal part attaches via concealed M6 bolts passing through the door, securing tightly against pulling or unscrewing from outside. This forms an invisible protective barrier around the lock cylinder while preserving smooth key operation and resisting tampering attempts.[1][8]
