Usage
The Finprotect Plus 5090 anti-finger-trap profile kit is designed for installation on the hinge side of doors, preventing finger injuries in high-traffic environments such as schools, childcare centers, hospitals, and public buildings.

Corrosion resistance: grade 4 after exposure to neutral salt spray for up to 240 hours (BS EN1670:2007).
- Total length per piece: 2500 mm. Aluminium profile width: approximately 15 mm; height: 10 mm. Tested lifespan exceeds one million open/close cycles.
Profile allows door opening angles between 130°–180°, depending on hinge type and installation method.
- Covers both leaf faces—the narrow section fits the hinge knuckle side (pull), broad section covers the push side—providing comprehensive protection across most standard door types.
How it works
The kit installs directly onto door leaf and frame using screws or optional adhesive tape. Once fitted, its flexible synthetic profiles block access to hazardous gaps when the door operates—preventing fingers from being trapped while maintaining full normal function of the door.
