The Capot d'habillage ED Basic is a cover designed for single-leaf hinged doors equipped with Dorma ED 100 or ED 250 swing door operators. It provides protection and a consistent visual appearance in both commercial and public environments.

Specifications

  • Design: Aluminum construction, finished to match Dorma's Contur aesthetic. Dimensions: approximately 685 mm (L) x 70 mm (H) x 130 mm (D).
  • Lifespan & Standards: Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001; suitable for use in fire-rated installations when paired with compatible operators.[5]
  • Performance: Operating temperature range from –15°C to +50°C; maximum relative humidity up to 93% (non-condensing). Compatible doors can support weights up to 400 kg (ED 250) or up to 160 kg/door leaf width up to 1100–1600 mm depending on operator type.[8][9]
  • Differentiating Features: Universal fit for both push- or pull-arm configurations; allows maximum opening angle of the system at up to 110°.[1][4]

How it works

The cover is mounted over the Dorma ED 100 or ED 250 swing door operator during installation. It conceals mechanical components, protects against dust and impacts, and maintains a uniform look across automated hinged door systems.
