Usage
The SD300M double surface-mounted electromagnetic lock is designed for secure locking of double-leaf doors in commercial or institutional environments, supporting access control and emergency exit systems.
Advantages
- Holding force of 2 x 300 kg ensures reliable locking for double doors
- Position monitoring via NO/NC relay contact enables integration with security systems
- High resistance to corrosion supports long-term durability, especially indoors
- Delivered with safety cables and compatible backplates for safe and flexible installation
- Continuous power supply required to maintain the locked state (Fail-Safe principle)
Specifications
- Surface-mounted design; composed of high-strength materials resistant to corrosion; supplied with matching counterplates and security cables.
- NFS 61-937 certified; recommended for use in fire safety applications; intended primarily for indoor environments.
- Total holding force: up to 600 kg (300 kg per magnet); supply voltage: selectable between 12V DC (1.2A) or 24V DC (620 mA); dimensions: lock body—500 x 42.5 x 27 mm, counterplate—185 x 38 x11 mm.
- No residual magnetism enables smooth door release; includes electronic protection against self-induction effects.
How it works
The SD300M operates by energizing its electromagnets when powered at either12V or24 VDC. This keeps the door securely closed until power is interrupted, at which point the magnets release instantly, allowing safe opening.
