This closed-cell round foam backing rod with a 15 mm diameter is designed for professional sealing applications, primarily as a support filler in expansion joints, glazing frames, or before applying sealant in construction and renovation projects.

How it works
The foam backing rod is pressed into the clean joint gap to control both the depth and shape before applying sealant. By limiting adhesion points and providing uniform support, it increases sealing effectiveness while using only the necessary amount of product.
