Usage
The floor socket is designed for use with adjustable locking bolts on aluminum profiles featuring a 14/18 mm groove. It secures and aligns lockable elements in doors, windows, or partition systems commonly used in commercial and industrial settings.
Advantages
- Compatible with ALU profiles featuring a 14/18 mm groove for versatile installation.
- Ensures precise alignment and secure anchoring of adjustable locks.
- Robust construction suitable for repeated use in high-traffic environments.
- Simplifies retrofitting or new assembly projects thanks to standardized dimensions.
- A minor drawback: requires matching lock components for optimal integration.
Specifications
- Manufactured from durable metal alloy, designed specifically for aluminum profile systems with a groove width of 14–18 mm.
- Tailored for long-term use; resistant to corrosion typical of indoor industrial environments. Meets standard compatibility requirements for profile hardware accessories.
- Tolerates operational loads typical for floor anchor points within access control assemblies; maintains position under routine stresses encountered by swing or sliding features.
- Differentiates itself through its adjustability, allowing precise adaptation to various locking bolt lengths within the same family of ALU profiles.
How it works
The socket is fixed into the floor at the designated location corresponding to the locking mechanism’s bolt. When engaged, the lock’s adjustable bolt slots securely into this socket, holding the door or panel firmly closed within an aluminum profile system while permitting easy unlocking as needed by authorized users.
