Usage
The Lamello Classic X biscuit joiner is designed for precise and efficient wood joining in furniture production, panel assembly, and carpentry workshops. It is ideal for fixed, self-clamping, or detachable connections in a variety of materials.
Advantages
- Cuts accurate 4 mm grooves for strong and repeatable wood joints
- Multifunctional stop square enables variable groove positioning from 0 to 50 mm and stable vertical use
- Identical milling on both workpieces without depth adjustment minimizes risk of errors and increases workflow speed
- Precisely machined aluminium base plate ensures consistent accuracy at every contact point
- Lateral tolerance allows quick handling without additional stops or guides; corded operation may be less portable than cordless models[1][3]
Specifications
- Robust design with CNC-milled aluminium components, carbide-tipped cutter (100 x 4 x 22 mm), six alternate teeth[1][6]
- Tried-and-tested system; conforms to protection class II standards[1]
- Milling depth: up to 20 mm; motor power: 850 W; spindle speed: 10,000 min⁻¹; product weight: 2.9 kg[1][6]
- Permanently fixed pivot point on the swivel front stop ensures the groove position remains exact even if repositioned during use[1]; cable length: 4m; sound pressure level: 87 dB[1]
How it works
The user aligns the Classic X against the workpiece using its milled reference surfaces. By activating the motorized cutter, a precise groove is milled into each joining surface. Biscuits are inserted into these grooves to create secure joints when glued and clamped.[1][3]
