Usage

The CISA Astral S DUO 50/60 double Europrofile cylinder is designed for secure mechanical locking of residential and commercial doors. It is ideal for environments requiring high protection against forced entry and manipulation.

Advantages

  • The clutch system allows operation even if a key remains inserted on the opposite side; no copy protection on supplied keys can be a minor drawback in restricted areas

Specifications

  • The cylinder features a robust brass body with segment core, casehardened steel pins and drivers, phosphor bronze springs, and self-lubricating DIN cam.
  • Laminated steel core resists snapping; product meets EN1303:2015 certification requirements (durability grade: up to 100,000 operating cycles).
  • Total length: approximately 110 mm (50/60 configuration). Barrel diameter: approx. 17 mm. Offers anti-pick, anti-drill & anti-bump protections. Key thickness 2.9 mm.
  • Differentiating features include coded card-protected key duplication process (no unauthorized copies), flat reversible nickel-plated brass keys as standard.

How it works

The double cylinder is installed into the door lock case. Inserting the flat reversible key operates the internal pin-tumbler mechanism from either side—thanks to the clutch system—even when a key is present on the other side.
