Usage
The SAV Compas 350 Roto A et K 12/20-9 is designed for tilt-and-turn or turn-only window sashes, providing robust support and articulation for wooden, PVC, or aluminium frames in residential and commercial buildings.
Advantages
- Compatible with wood, PVC, and aluminium window profiles for versatile application.
- Supports sash weights up to 130 kg (Roto A) or up to 100/130 kg (Roto K), ensuring performance for large windows.
- Lateral clearance as low as 20 mm (K) or 20.5 mm (A) allows integration into slim frame designs.
- Offers multidimensional adjustability: height (+2/-2 mm to +3/-3 mm), width (+4/-2 mm to +2/-2 mm), and pressure (+1/-1 mm to +0.5/-0.5 mm).
- Tilt First operation prioritizes ventilation safety but requires user familiarity with the reverse handle action.
Specifications
- Design: For use on wood/PVC/aluminium sashes; available in "A" version for wood/PVC/steel frames and "K" version specifically for PVC frames; fits sash widths from approximately 601–800 mm.
- Materials: High-strength construction suitable for long-term operation; all visible components engineered for corrosion resistance.[1][4]
- Sash weight capacity: Up to either a maximum of 100 kg or 130 kg depending on configuration.[4]
- Differentiating feature: Allows opening up to 180°, suitable for emergency exit requirements and enhanced ventilation.[4]
How it works
The compas mechanism securely connects the window sash to its frame through pivots that enable controlled tilting or full opening. Adjustment screws allow precise calibration of height, width, and closing pressure during installation or maintenance.[4][6]
