Usage
The SAV Compas 250 Roto A et K 12/20-13 is designed for use as a tilt-and-turn sash stay (compas) in window and door systems made from wood, PVC, or aluminium. It is suitable for both residential and commercial fenestration projects requiring robust ROTO hardware compatibility.
Advantages
- Compatible with multiple profile materials: wood, PVC, and aluminium
- Supports heavy sashes up to 130 kg
- Allows an opening angle up to 180° for maximum ventilation and access
- Three-dimensional adjustment enables precise alignment after installation
- Slim installation space requirements help suit various frame designs; minor drawback may include specific adjustment ranges by model variant
Specifications
- The compas system uses robust pivots and joints with variants tailored for ROTO A (wood/PVC/steel) or K (PVC) profiles; components fit standard visible NT systems or Euro grooves as required.
- The product is manufactured according to ROTO’s quality standards, providing weather resistance and long-term durability.
- The maximum supported sash weight reaches up to either 100 kg or up to 130 kg depending on profile version. The system offers lateral clearance of around ≤21 mm and vertical/horizontal adjustments typically ranging from ±2 mm to ±4 mm.
- Main differentiating features include multi-material compatibility, three-dimensional adjustability (height: +3/-3 mm; width: +4/-2 mm), pressure fine-tuning (+1/-1 mm), tilt-first operation option (“TILT FIRST”), slim clearances (from just over zero at certain points), and full sash rotation capacity.
How it works
Once installed on the appropriate window or door frame, the SAV Compas 250 holds the sash securely while allowing smooth tilting for ventilation or full turning for cleaning and wide access. Integrated adjustment points let installers achieve precise fitment based on project needs.
