Usage
The SAV Pivot mâle NX T/NT E5 is designed for use in timber window frames, enabling secure and reliable rotation or tilt-and-turn functions on sashes compatible with ROTO fitting systems for wood, PVC, and aluminium profiles.
Advantages
- Compatible with multiple sash profile systems (4/15-9, 4/18-9, 12/18-9, and 12/18-13) for wood constructions
- Allows sash opening up to 180° for enhanced accessibility and ventilation
- High load capacity supporting sashes up to 150 kg
- Pivots and supports can be pre-fitted prior to full frame assembly to streamline installation workflows
- The shallow installation depth (5 mm) reduces thermal bridging and condensation risk at the pivot point
Specifications
- Narrow design compass bearings; crafted from robust metal alloys suitable for heavy-duty window applications[3][1]
- Treatment of the frame surface is possible before final chassis assembly; meets modern construction standards for durability[3]
- Bearing width: lateral clearance of only 21 mm; bottom clearance: just 5 mm; maximum sash weight: up to150 kg;sash opening angle: up to180°[3][6][9]
- No thermal bridge between bearing support and weather protection due to limited drilling depth (5 mm); condensation buildup reduced at pivots[3]
How it works
This male pivot is installed into pre-drilled timber frames as part of a ROTO tilt-and-turn or rotary window system. After fixing into position, it allows the connected sash or vent panel to rotate smoothly on the hinge axis while meeting high durability requirements.
